International Canoe History
Sven Thorell
Sven Thorell arguably occupies a similar place in the history of
Swedish Canoeing to that Uffa Fox occupies in British Sailing.
Important as a competitor, designer, builder and writer, Herr Thorell
also won an Olympic Gold medal, in 1928 in the International 12 ft
Class, surpassing Fox in that respect.
