AC 289 is still for sale.
Over the past few weeks i have been right through the boat sorting out any minor dings to the hull, seat and carriage. Bananas is now in tip top condition, everything is working properly and it really needs a new home.
Make me an offer!!!

Long shot as it is an old post, but I'm wondering if anyone has any insight in how to get an IC from the UK to the USA, and how much it typically costs. there are none of these cool boats over here and shipping seems to be a small fortune. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you asking about an AC, because there are a few non asymetric boats for sail in the US, The Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/sail.ic has really overtaken this forum for information.

Hi Ollie,

Where are you located? There are several good ICs available in the US - the US website has a decent list: http://intcanoe.com/boats-for-sale/ and I know of a few others. Are you looking specifically for an AC? That movement never really caught on in the US and the AC does not race in our nationals or world championships. However there are good canoes available sans spinnaker that are probably much closer to you than the UK. Happy to help you get your hands on one.

Querying the FB group also works.

Best,
