Canoes in Michigan?

Post by jimc » Tue Dec 15, 2015 8:45 pm

Folks, I've received this query via the website. I'll forward on the answers...
I was wondering if there is Canoe sail racing in Michigan. If so where and
who should I contact to become a part of it.
thanks, Jim C

There are a bunch of old ICs in Michigan in the hands of Don Campbell.
There are some King Ferry boats and the best boat of the lot is probably Hearts and Crabs , which was the boat I built for Bob Greenlee in 1984 or so.
None would be competitive, but would probably be pretty good rides.
Don collected them, now needs to off load.
I think Dave Clark has the details.

Since I'm in Indiana and I really want to try/buy an IC, I too am interested in these boats.
