The International Canoe

Hello,
I am in progress of organising the 2011 Worlds in Travemünde. Can anybody help me with a checklist or some documents about what to be considered? What kind of official things need to be done? Who has to be invited? What kind of requests, applications or proposals do I need to write? Any help is appreciated.

Christian would be the man to get hold of he went through all this for the last Worlds and Im sure he would have all the documentation required try internationalcanoe@hotmail.com or pm him on this forum. Im not sure who did the hard work for previous Worlds. Again Im sure Christian would have those names also.

Good rule of thumb is: organise a regatta that you'd want to compete in and socialise around

Just saw that the 2010 brochure is available online for Travemunde Week:

Looks like they're sailing off the beach course, and will be racing from the 24th to 27th July 2010. NOR is due out 1 March 2010.
Time to start planning on getting there next year I guess.
