whats the story behind this one? what year and who built it? Just wondering cause it will soon be mine (hopefully)

I built USA 163 in 1980 I think.
Owned by Rod Mincher and then John Kells,
Has had plenty of miles and I haven't seen her for over 10 years.

I could be wrong, the mists of time and all that. What does it look like? sometimes sails move around without getting their numbers changed. If it isn't a white hull, it's another boat.

My first IC!
USA 163 was sold in August of 1994 to Bernard Quin of Montreal who planned to sail it on Lake Champlain. It was last repibly seen by the IC Community at Sugar Island in 1995 restored with bright finished wood decks.
