Transport to Travamunde Europeans

Post by Felicity » Sat Feb 20, 2010 9:30 pm

Dear Sailors

Happy New Year I hope you and your boats all survived the arctic winter.

Anyone fancy a nice warm Europeans in Germany? But think that the boat transportation might be an issue. I have preliminarily discussed transport to and from the event with a boat transport company.

There is an IC open event for 10th-11th July the weekend after the Lord Birkett Trophy, at Ullswater, which you are all cordially invited to!

The Europeans in Travamunde begin on 23rd July. As the events are so close the idea is to have the boats picked up from Ullswater and transported to Travamunde. On the way back the boats can be unloaded at points up the motorway and at Ullswater.

The cost depends on the number of boats who wish to be transported with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 9. With cost ranging between £330 and £230 respectively. This will work on a first come first served basis and a £100 deposit to reserve a place.

If you would like to book a place, know prices or have any other questions please contact me at felicityrobson@btinternet.com or on 07702473984.

I am really looking forward to the coming season and hope everyone else is too.
