Re: FED WEEK (Hayling Island SC)

Hi Simon,
It might be possible to hire you a Slurp. Won't know for a while so if you can find another Nethercott I won't hold it against you!
Be good to see you there though.

FED WEEK (Hayling Island SC)

I have booked in at HISC for Fed Week and hope other IC / AC sailors may come and join me.
Fed Week 11-15/8/14.

Re: Storm Surge

IC's at West Kirby survived the savage sea despite the team racing caravan, afloat in the dinghy park (can this be true? yes indeed!) knocking over a 2.4Metre onto Stuart's Slurp. Some superficial damage but the IC's escaped. Thanks for your thought's Jim. Any other places affected?

Re: Ullswater open

Good luck with the open - I hope the weather behaves itself. It's my daughter's wedding day on Saturday so I can't be with you all. Hopefully see you during the season.

Re: Torment K102.

Minor updates to slide carriage to remove old SS bridge and give platform for mainsheet takeoff. Otherwise original. It will be interesting to see how she performs against other Nethercots where rig/cb has been moved aft. She has a fixed carriage like 3 of the 5 'Slurps' and a Proctor (GBR108). I'm ...

Re: Torment K102.

"Dicey" now at home at West Kirby SC in capable hands of Mat Shepherd who is carrying out a fully re varnishing. Looks pretty too but not quite ready yet. She's expected back on the water this month to join the other 12 or 13 IC's... I'm losing count.

Re: Wanted: Urgent!! Old canoe, not too expensive!!

If you or the scientist are anywhere near West Kirby on the Wirral on Saturday 10/4/10, we'd be happy to talk Canoes at the West Kirby Sailing Club open day and maybe give you some ideas on how he may acquire a canoe.
