The Race Officer has sensibly cancelled racing on Saturday for the Final Fling in Plymouth. This will now be a one day event with three races on Sunday. The Saturday evening talk by Mike Mcnamara and Happy hour (From 6PM) are still going ahead.

No need to go as big as 6mm, The breaking load on 3mm Marlow D12 is 855Kg if your getting remotely close to that on your forestay then you are doing something wrong.

Yes, there are masthead locks that can be fitted internally as long as the mast has a big enough diameter towards the top end. I have the selden part no: 511-202-01 on my mast with the halyard led back into the mast. It does need an alarmingly big hole cut into the mast to get it working. The halyar...

Yes, my ferry also booked, an overnighter from Portsmouth on the 18th July. Maybe spend a day or two in Holland before the event.
